Posing can feel awkward at first, but the more you try it the less awkward it will feel. This is not required since we always coach our ladies head to toe on how to pose during their session.
But, its never a bad idea to try some posing and stretch your back muscle beforehand. You can practice in front of a mirror or take some test shots before your session. This can help you get more comfortable with the camera, learn how your body desires to move naturally, as well as see what angles & poses work better for you.
